Stacey Aglok MacDonald

Stacey Aglok MacDonald is an Inuit film and television writer and producer originally from Kuglultuk, Nunavut. Stacey formed Red Marrow Media with fellow Inuit filmmaker, Alethea Arnaquq-Baril in 2019. Currently co-creator, Executive Producer and Writer for an upcoming Arctic comedy series for CBC, Netflix and APTN, Stacey is most widely known for her work on the Inuit fan-favourite comedy series, Qanurli, an Inuktut-language series that ran for seven seasons on APTN; The Grizzlies (2018); the multi-award winning Throat Song, and most recently Slash/Back (2022).


Aglok MacDonald currently lives in Iqaluit, Nunavut, with her much cooler, much wiser, 13-year-old daughter and their dog, Okpik. Aglok MacDonald has worked in the film industry since 2007.
