Mark Tapley

Mark Tapley has been with the ABC since 2011 and is based in Melbourne.

His career before the ABC included work as a policy adviser. He was Chief of Staff to the Communications Minister from 2008 to 2011.

Since 2011 he has worked in strategy and government relations roles at the ABC, and in August 2019 Mark became the director of the newly formed Strategy division, the role he holds today.

The Strategy division brings together 5 teams: Corporate Strategy, Corporate Affairs, Communications, International Services and Education.
