Social media has introduced so many new challenges – from echo chambers and polarization, to the spread of disinformation, to easy access to violent and sexual content with particular negative impact on children and youth. Often overlooked is social media’s impact on civil and civic discourse. A handful of Public Service Media has been working on an initiative to address this problem (Public Spaces Incubator).

What have they learned over the past two years? What challenges have faced this group? Is it a collaborative model that can solve other big problems we face? What’s next?
